Registered Specialist Periodontist
Dr. Lidia Ferritto has worked as a full time Periodontist and Implant Surgeon since 1997. She was educated at The Ursuline Convent in Wimbledon and University College London where she graduated in 1987. She received her Licentiate from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1988. On qualification, she taught at University College in the Departments of Restorative Dentistry and Periodontology. Specialist training at Guy’s Hospital followed and she completed a Masters Degree in Periodontology in 1993. A further diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons followed in 1997. Her advanced implant surgical training took place in the UK and Switzerland. In 2000, she was asked to teach at Trinity University College, Dublin where she carried out implant placement and surgical research projects. Her paper on Implant treatment has been published internationally. She has also lectured for many of the major implant companies and continues to teach and mentor other surgeons.
