Dr Mahul Patel

Dentist with Special Interest in Prosthodontics, Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry

We are delighted to welcome Dr Mahul Patel to the team.

Dr Mahul Patel graduated from King’s College London in 2002 and went on to complete the MJDF examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009. He holds two Master’s degrees from the UCL Eastman Dental Institute; one in Restorative Dental Practice (2010) and the other in Conservative Dentistry (2012). His latter degree was awarded with Distinction, along with the 3M ESPE Postgraduate Prize for outstanding clinical and academic achievement. In 2014, he was awarded Membership in Prosthodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Mahul’s clinical and research interests span aesthetic and implant dentistry, endodontics, the management of advanced tooth wear, crown preparation techniques and the performance of restorative dental materials. He has published and presented his work at local, national and international levels.

In addition to clinical practice, Mahul holds academic roles as a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute and as a Senior Clinical Teacher at King’s College Dental Institute. He serves as a Key Opinion Leader and advisor for various multinational dental companies and is a former Specialty Dentist in Prosthodontics at King’s College Dental Hospital.

Dedicated to advancing the profession, Mahul mentors and trains dentists across the U.K through his independent lectures and hands-on restorative courses.

Outside of dentistry, Mahul enjoys golf and hockey. He has two young children and has lived in both Kenya and Singapore.
